And what you say, he will be stronger? I do not mean that they will meet as enemies, but I think that if Goku met someone this strong he would be sure to measure out his own. Cast your vote on my poll`s amenoosa.deviantart.com/journa…
Yes because yelling to turn your hair blonde is totally an interesting power. Only someone who has never actually read a Superman comic thinks that his powers are "boring". Goku has even fewer powers and more boring powers than Superman or any of his comic book contemporaries.
With this were a battle to happen, even though I don't know why since the two of them fight only those who are a danger to the Earth and civilians, the two of them might end up destroying the Earth itself since they both are far too powerful.
Against the New-52 Fake? Goku rips that S off his chest and says, "Your nothing more than a pretender. The REAL Superman is married is Lois and doesn't need to wear armor!" Then proceeds to kick the crap out of this fake "Superman"
No he hasn't, he's never fought him in anything canon. I'll tell you what I see. I see the Superman animated series from 10 years ago, or any of the movies (except the ridiculously stupid final one with Christopher Reeve where he moved the moon), and I see that he is approximately 1 to 10 thousand times stronger than a human with similar build. He has a hard time catching an airplane, he's like struggling and straining and nicking the sides of skyscrapers all the way down and then just barely manages to decelerate it in time by the time it reaches the ground. That's a far cry from blowing up planets. 4 x 10^33 joules. That's what it would take for Earth. You want to talk about power output, Superman couldn't generate that much energy if he was pedaling on a stationary bicycle for a billion years. Honestly, every time someone starts to talk about these things, I expect them to finish the sentence with something sane but nope, they always disappoint me and go on to say insane gibberish like "superman would OBVIOUSLY beat Goku in a fight" or "Batman would OBVIOUSLY beat Superman in a fight. Without Kryptonite. He'd find a way. Because he's Batman." Or "The hulk would OBVIOUSLY beat Superman". Galactus, however, I could acknowledge as being up to the task. He DOES regularly destroy planets after all. Although he never fights things directly, so it's a bit like apples and oranges.
So based on your inane rant, you've obviously never picked up a comic book in your life. You want his power output: Superman has shown on multiple occasions in the comics, that he can travel well over the speed of light which is 299,792,458 meters per second and is capable of performing the infinite mass punch, more than enough to destroy the planet. Add in a lifting strength of 5.9 sextillion tons and you have one dead Saiyan. Superman has even said and shown it numerous times in the comics...his punches have the ability to "shatter entire worlds". That means that each punch would be delivering a payload of at least 53 quadrillion megatons. Maybe instead of trying to pick fights you'll never win, you should actually pick up a comic book instead of going off of the non-canon movies and TV shows. Trust me, compared to threats like Darkseid and Imperiex, Goku is nothing. Hell, Bills is nothing compared to actual comic book threats.
Actually, Death Battle never gives a "definitive answer" to the age old question: Who would win? The makers of Death Battle make their decisions based on the research they've gathered and calculating the math of each characters power. Sometimes, this can be flawed. As professional as Death Battle is, it's still made by a fan group, not the actual creators of the characters. I will never deny that watching Death Battle is awesome, I love the fights, but the debate will go on forever.
Wow, I thought your comment would be the complete opposite given your profile pic.
Personally, I feel they raised a valid point. Superman has no limits, he doesn't even need to breath. Goku is a god among men, bit supes is a god among gods. I still like both characters equally (maybe a tad more Goku, just because I grew up on DBZ) but I do agree with the decision.
I think the decision would sway toward Goku now after the new Dragonball movie. His power in that movie is so high it can't even be comprehended by the other characters. He is literally god-like in terms of strength. So although I'm also a big Superman fan, I think Goku might have it.
I agree too, I'm still probably biased towards Goku, but the fight was extremely entertaining nonetheless. Superman truly is one of the strongest characters in fictional history, very few are able to stand in his way.
I'm not even sure who that is...but I believe that Asura from Asura's Wrath would be able to kill Superman. I mean, he killed his universe's God and toppled seven demigod tyrants, because they made his daughter cry.
